Be Unique. Be Creative. Be Yourself.

I've went through life not caring for people in general. This leading into never wanting to be like other people. I always set out to be different in any way that I could find. I used to wear really different clothes more in the "street style" and then I realized that I could do something even bigger to stand out from everyone. I started to do a lot of different hairstyles of all types from dreads, braids, mullets, man-bun... (the list goes on). Well after so many hairstyles I decided to start coloring my hair crazy colors. I started with this deep green color which ended up fading into a blue/turquoise (super cool). After that I decided to go straight blonde and then for Breast Cancer Awareness one year I decided to do hot pink.

The whole time I'm doing all of this weird stuff to my hair from a young age I always had people staring at me in public. At first it used to really irritate me and I would get mad that people used to just stare at me like I was a freak or something. Well, down the road when I got older I got to the point in my life that I could care less what people thought of me or what I looked like. That's when I realized the best thing in life... who cares what people think of you.

After that I decided to do whatever I wanted in life and not care what people thought of it. It was actually pretty cool to see people's reactions to my different styles throughout the years as I changed, but the best one had to be when I had hot pink hair. I had all eyes on me in public when I would go out without a hat and that's also when I realized something else big... "If people stare at you in public it just means that you're doing something right. Make your own style and follow it."

Now a days I see all of these people on social media doing stuff to get likes from other people and gain approval of what they're doing or wearing. Most of the time they just copy someone else's style and try to claim it. I say screw what people think and just wear what you want, like what you want and be who you want. I used to look up to a lot of people when I was younger and as I got older I found out that they aren't "cool" like I thought they were. Don't ever put somebody on a pedestal above you and try to compare yourself to them, because everyone is a different human being in their own way.

Life is actually pretty simple but people make it way too difficult sometimes, you just have to be yourself.
